Comments and Compliments

At Nethergreen Surgery we always appreciate any compliments about our practice or if you have any helpful suggestions as to how we could improve things.

Please feel free to talk to Richard or Sue at any time, or  write to us.

If anything is going wrong, we can't put it right unless you tell us.  

Complaints

We always try to provide the highest standard of care here at Nethergreen Surgery. However, sometimes things don’t always go as you may have liked.

If you have a concern or complaint about any aspect of your care from our practice we hope we can put things right.

We hope you will feel able to use our complaints procedure if necessary

  • Our staff can provide you with a leaflet that sets out our complaints procedure.
  • You can put your complaint in writing to our  Manager, Richard West 
  • Alternatively you can ask to speak directly to our manager, Richard West
  • If our Practice Manager is unavailable, then you can talk to our Assistant Manager, Sue Dilks 
Many issues can be sorted out very quickly and easily and allow us to address anything that may have gone wrong and improve our practice in the future. If you feel unable to approach us directly or you feel unsatisfied with the way we are handling your complaint then you can contact the local Patient Services Team(PST) based in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital that  can provide confidential advice and support. Alternatively, you can contact ICAS (Independent Complaints Advisory Service) on 0845 1203734. ICAS is an independent organisation who will provide free and confidential advice to complainants, and who will support you when making a complaint.
 
If after the above, you are not satisfied with the outcome, after receiving the final written formal response from either the Practice or the PCT, you may ask the Health Service Ombudsman to investigate your case.
