What happens if you need services out-of-hours?

This is now the number to ring both when we are closed and if you need non urgent advice or help during the day but don't need the Surgery.
Where else to get help
Information, advice and treatment of minor illnesses is available from nurses at the NHS Walk-in Centre from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. This is based at Broad Lane
The Minor Injuries Unit is also open from 8.00 am – 8.00 pm specifically for the treatment of minor injuries, and is located in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital (Claremont Place entrance).
Both services are open all year, seven days a week including the Christmas and New Year period. You do not need to make an appointment.
We are also able to offer appointments at several 'hub practices' via Primary Care Sheffield. More information can be found by clicking the image below.
Your dentist
For all out-of-hours dental services ring 111. who will be able to advise you about self-care, or the next available treatment session, as appropriate. This service is for existing practice patients as well as those without a regular dentist or visitors and students.
There are no out of hours dental services available at the Northern General Hospital or the Children’s Hospital but dental emergencies e.g. acute mouth bleeding, severe infection with swelling or injury to the mouth should be seen at the Northern General Hospital or the Sheffield Children’s Hospital as appropriate.
